This seminar is designed for current users who are ready to prepare for the start of a new semester.
All the necessary steps will be covered, such as:

archiving/resetting the grade book
updating course section names and information
creating categories for assignments

What’s New For Fall 2009 Seminar (20 minutes)
This custom seminar is designed for both current and new users who are interested in knowing the exciting changes implemented for Fall.
The areas covered will be:

Overview of product content changes (this is based on the product(s) using)
WebTest
Lesson Editor

Comprehensive Seminar (60 minutes)
Note: This training will cover the entire software system including:

the student side of the software
the instructor’s online grade book
the test generator

Grade Book Seminar – Beginner Level (20 minutes)
This seminar is designed for the new user or as a basic refresher for current users.
The basics will be covered, such as:

course creation
assigning homework
inputting credit for homework assignments
utilizing key reports
creating late penalties

Grade Book Seminar - Intermediate Level (30 minutes)
This next level is designed for the user who is ready to go beyond the basics:

utilizing the grade book for assignments other than the premade homework assignments provided
creating categories for assignments
creating templates to standardize due dates and assignments
inputting test settings and managing tests
archiving grades

Grade Book Seminar - Advanced Level (30 minutes)
In this seminar, the user will learn more advanced features and settings that are available, such as:

assigning homework in a self-paced environment
utilizing diagnostic testing
benefiting from advanced reports
using the message board

Grade Book Seminar – For Course Administrators (20 minutes)
This seminar is designed for Course Aministrators who are responsible for:

adding and removing instructors
creating standard assignments
assignment settings for other instructors
viewing other instructor’s grade books including reports on all student progress

WebTest (Test Generator) Seminar (20 minutes)
Discover the ease of creating both paper and electronic tests with WebTest. WebTest offers a database of questions to choose from and the options to:

print multiple versions of a test
export the test and answer key for easy editing
electronically publish the test to be taken on the internet and automatically grade and record in the instructor’s online grade book

Lesson Editor (Customize Homework and Tests) Seminar (20 minutes)
Create a custom curriculum for homework and tests using Lesson Editor.

view the premade homework assignments
add or remove questions as desired to create a custom curriculum
learn how easily students who do not have internet connection may receive the custom homework assignments

Student Software Seminar (30 minutes)
View the feature-rich software that allows students to receive:

instruction including video-clips and narrated lectures
unlimited practice problems with error-specific feedback when an error is made
an “Interactive Tutor” for “Step By Step” help in problem-solving and the complete “Solution” to problems
mastery-based homework assignments which is a motivating approach to completing homework
a “Progress Report” which displays current grade and assignment information as well as provides a mailbox tool, course materials, and a message board

Q and A Seminar (60 minutes)
