WebTest is a state-of-the-art testing system that provides you with the tools to create UNIQUE tests, quizzes, and homework assignments for your students to take online or on paper. WebTest allows you to select questions from our Hawkes Learning Systems (HLS) product database or to create your own. Tests can be printed directly from WebTest, exported to a word document for editing, or published via the internet to your online grade book (WebCMS).

To create a test, all you have to do is select a topic, click the problems you wish to include on your test, and WebTest will do the grading. Creating and grading a test has never been so easy!

WebTest allows you to:

• create individualized tests, quizzes, and homework assignments using either our HLS product database or your own database of problems that have algorithmically generated parameters
• create a unique, yet equivalent, online or paper test for every student in your course with the click of a button
• publish assignments (via the internet)
• review the tests taken by your students
• give partial credit to your students
• mix the order of your test questions
• export and edit tests
• specify a test time limit for a class, several classes, or individual students
• add headers, footers, and page numbers

WebTest offers a feature called Advanced Question Builder. This allows you to create problems with algorithmically generated parameters using our question wizard. You come up with the problem type and define the variables in your problem…we do the rest!

In addition, students can build their own practice tests simply by specifying the topic(s) to include and the number of problems desired. After taking a test, students may review their test and their test results to determine their strengths and weaknesses.
