1. | Open WebTests under the Assignments tab in the Grade Book. |
2. | Select the check box next to the desired test. |
3. | Press General Settings on the right-hand side of the page. |
4. | Type the desired date into the Start Date and End Date field in the following format: MM/DD/YYYY or MM/DD/YY. Alternatively, press the calendar icon next to the field and select the desired date from the calendar. |
5. | The start time will default to 12:00 AM once the start date is set. This can be edited by selecting the time field and choosing the desired hour and minute. Alternatively, type the start time into the time field directly. |
6. | The end time will default to 11:59 PM once the end date is set. This can be edited by selecting the time field and choosing the desired hour and minute. Alternatively, type the end time into the time field directly. |
Note: If a student is working on a WebTest and reaches the end date/time while working, the assignment will be submitted by the server automatically to be graded. All unanswered questions will be counted as incorrect.
7. | Press the Save Changes button. |
Note: You can change the start and end dates for all sections a test is assigned to at once by pressing “show” next to Make Bulk Changes, selecting the check box next to Start Date under Sections, changing the Start and End Date under Make Bulk Changes, and then pressing the Save Changes button.
